2007 Draft Review

The Raiders were the trend buckers at the draft this year, going QB, TE, K, DEF, IDP before going to RB and WR. We'll see if he was about to capture the top spot in those categories and make up for Fragile Fred and Julius (Tiki syndrome) Jones.

The Cushions grabbed Steve Smith and Marvin Harrison with their top 2 picks, but with Mark Clayton as their #3, it may be the Ogres (Chad Johnson, Roy Williams, Greg Jennings, Drew Bennett) or Big Red (Holt, Wayne, Randy Moss, Curry) who have the best receiving corps.

Eli had to wait until the 5th round for Undefeated to finally claim him.

Frank Gore hung around until the 7th pick.

G Wong's Illini made Klecko the first IDP player in the 9th round. They also drafted JaMarcus Russell who has yet to sign a contract.

Ogres were the 2nd to last to grab their starting QB with Big Ben in the 10th. Woopiecushions were last with Delhomme in the 12th. (These could be the best moves of the draft.)

Vince "Madden Curse" Young went to Colvis in the 5th.

The Homies may have the steal of the draft with Devon Hester in the 12th.

Reavers took 3 starting RBs with their first 3 picks.

Michael Vick was not drafted.

Ballin' used their 12th pick on the Raider's Dominic Rhodes who was suspended the first 4 games. Bullets used their 13th pick on the Bengal's Chris Henry who will be at home the first 8 games of the season.
